Passwords on SANS Foundations must contain at least 14 characters.
Poor password hygiene is one of the most common ways individuals are hacked online. Meanwhile traditional password strength checks tend to reinforce bad password habits (such as capitalising the first character of your password and adding digits and special characters at the end).
We strongly recommend using a dedicated password manager online. Otherwise, try to join three or more random words together and use that as a password, while making sure you don't use that password on any other site.
